Nokia N95 firmware availible, first update v11.0.026

Dear Updater’s, We are pleased to announce a new software release for the Nokia N95 available through the Nokia Software Updater. Due to potential backup/restore incompatibilities, we strongly recommend synchronizing your Calendar details before updating your software. Version 11.0.026 is available for most product codes, but please note that not all operator variants are included yet. These will be added as soon as they are available. This video features a concept phone designed by Tamer Nakisci. The entire device is able to bend and twist. I don’t really see any reason for why people would want a bendable device, but heck, you be the judge yourselves.

Scott, a Nokia N95 user from UK (judging from the accent) made a video of him setting up a home cinema and his experiences with the N95 connected to a projector. Scott has some problems showing the movie experience because he’s doing the video on his N95.

Michael, aka BeerBong at Symbian-freak.com made a videoreview discussing the bad aspects of the Nokia N95. Michael complains about the slider, the display, the battery and navigation speed for the GPS. One word of warning though, the background music sucks.

By now most people have accepted that they have to charge their Nokia N95 on a daily basis, which in my opinion isn’t sensational news for smartphones. Some people have found this to annoying and decided to sell their devices in favor for phones such as the Nokia E90.
