Nokia N95 built-in level sensor

James at thecreativelifeblog has done it again, this time he describes the built-in level sensor in the great N95:
I have not read this anywhere else, so I thought it might be a good idea to mention it here . . .
The N95 has a level sensor - portrait photos are presented portrait, landscape photos are presented landscape, no having to rotate them in iPhoto.
It’s only a small point, but it’s a good one don’t you think?

So I did a silly thing and turned my camera to the side to see if the the camera automatically flipped from portrait to landscape… Ha ha. But I just imported a bunch of photos from the N95 to iPhoto and in fact it does determine the orientation of the photos when importing into iPhoto.
Hehe I understand it can be confusing. Nokia has not really promoted this function, or have I missed it?
