Nokia released their software Nokia Sports Tracker for free at Nokia Research Center homepage. The software, which intitially was developed for the Nokia 5500 devices, is now compatible with all Symbian S60 smartphones. But to use the application for real Nokia says you need a Nokia S60 3.0 phone with a bluetooth/integrated GPS device.
Using the GPS (or manual input) information such as speed, distance and time are automatically stored to your training diary. Infact you can actully see a satelitephoto of your latest joggingroute using GoogleMaps! Regardless if your phone has GPS or not, the Nokia Sports Tracker application offers great possibilites for those who need a trainingdiary.

Data is stored in a calender.

You select what type of activity your training consisted of, you can overview your training graphically.

Using the GPS you can overview your speed and distance (click for larger image).
Exporting data to Google Maps
As i mentioned earlier, you can actully export your training-data to Google Maps. You do this by using the built-in KML-file exporter. You can upload the file to your computer, or use it in your phone to upload your training data to Google Maps and thus, explore your jogingroute in a totally new way. Hopefully this will inspire to more joging and not more googling.

Saving your tracker-data to Google Maps
Nokia is probably releasing the software for free as a step in their marketing campaign having two recently introduced GPS phones, the Nokia 6110 Navigator and the Nokia N95 "multimedia computer" .
