Nokia N95 reviewed V, Battery life test

April 11, 2007 by Dario Soltani

bl5f.jpgThe guys at All About Symbian just released part 5 of their extensive N95 reviews. This time Steve Litchfield digs deep into the highly discussed and sometimes criticized 950mAh BL-5F battery for the Nokia N95.

The N95 is truly a multi-functional device which handles Internet, Bluetooth, voice communications, Calendar, Clock, GPS, Camera and so on.

Steve’s verdict is that if the phone is used in a ‘typical’ manner (actually fairly intensive), it manages to get you through the day, with enough power left to make a few last calls if needed. If you want to use the GPS in-car as your navigation device you’re advised to plug it into a 12V charger.

The Nokia N95 won’t go several days without a recharge, at least not for now with the BL-5F standard battery. Hopefully extra-capacity batteries will be available soon.
