April 25, 2007 by Dario Soltani
More and more images are showing up on the P700i, Sony Ericsson’s rumored phone to come and in my opinion, heavy competition for the N95. Nothing is yet confirmed but judging from the movie and the images, the P700i looks real enough for me. Read more for my list on why the P700i will sell better and/or watch the first movie on the P700i.

5 reasons why Sony Ericsson P700i will sell better than Nokia N95
- The camera
Most users will be satisfied with the 3.2 Mpixel camera of the P700i. 5 Mpixels does not make better images. - The battery
At this moment I have no information regarding the P700i batteries, but they will surely beat the N95’s charge-every-day package. - Semi QWERTY-keyboard
Nokia N95 attracts powerusers and they love QWERTY-keyboards. - The price
I estimate P700i will cost about £400. The N95 goes for $600.
- The touchscreen
Together with the QWERTY-keyboard, the touchscreen is a cool feature. The iPhone and the trends it brings will also stimulate the market towards touchscreen devices.
All in all, the P700i lacks many of the features offered by the N95 but will appeal a wider market.
