Could you please tell me if I upgrade Nokia Firmware using NSS and NSU programs do I really to just an upgrade on my current firmware or this is a clean installation (means format of your phone memory and install Firmware from the begining).
My question is because my phone hangs a lot and I don't wanna cometo the same poing after upgrade. Do I need to clear the phone bofere install a new firmware or this is done automatically within upgrade.

thanks

Hey dario,
I need to update the current firmware on my phone, but everytime i start the NSU app it freezes with a configuration error. Any ideas?

Also, my product code is 0548170, but i bought it from a tmobile store, branded to tmobile... I'm confused a little. Could the handset have come from backdated stock from orange?
