I own a standard N95 since Sept 2007 it had never been updated since when i bought it and it could play videos from youtube and could play mp4 videos with resolutions of 480×360 with slight freezing to resync video to audio.
After hearing N95 could play .flv video files i decided to update the software in the phone. Now updated the phone has gained some things but has lost the ability to play mp4 videos completely and does not recognise youtube videos and still cant play .flv files.
Is it possible to downgrade it back to how it was? and does restoring factory settings do anything to the phone’s software or is that just a ‘reformat’?

my nemesis cant find phone,i open nemesis and select phone info but there is nothing writin i cant in actions press read,when i press scan its error.what i need to do?

iv done every thing said on here and it still tells me when i try to run the nss that my network will not allow this help me please as windows are no cheap to replace(house)

I tried to update my N95 8GB on my Ovi home site.

Update started normal and I got a message that the screen could black out a few time during installation. And it did, but it didn’t come back, ever?? Now it hung up and I cant access it any more?

Anything I can do to get in touch with it again?

hi.. i could change the code of my n95 8G to the europe with the genesys, but when i check with the nokia uploader it says that there is no upgradable software. I Have the 1.2.0.11
