Instead, after downloading, it briefly displays a message saying 'Updating Phone Contents' or something like that, but when I look at the Map in the phone, it is still the same old version, not the newer version 3.0. l know this because I managed to update the maps in my other phone (Nokia E71) and it worked. I always get connection in less than 1 minute. then exit GPS data and open nokiamaps. Garmin also locks faster than nokia maps, so i suspect the problem is in nokia maps sotware.
