hm. i loved my n95 because of the camera/video, wifi, music player, and web browser (though i used the opera mini more so than the one supplied). That being said, the n95-2 has a bigger screen, 8gb storage space, and i'm really interested to know exactly how much better than battery is - reported at 25-50% increase was it?, but i'm really turned off by the lack of lens cover. Can you tell me how vulnerable it is to scratches? (I'm not a fan at all of cases - though i might end up buying a belt-clip type case seeing in how the n95 barely fits into my pockets with ease :P)

THAT ALL BEING SAID: then n82 is 100$ CAD cheaper! I am excited as many reviews say the n82 has the BEST camera by far - its xenon far surpasses the k850 - so i've read. With that $100CAD i'd save i could get 8gb microSD. but smaller screen and smaller battery is a turn off.

hm. i guess by talking to myself and with you here i guess i've answered my own question :P n95-2 it is! :P

Thanks for the input.

PS - the dora and liam aren't really my thing :P but thanks

Oh... Yes that really sucks! You should start an operator company which offers unlimited data plans and make some big money ;)

Alright, in that case you really don't have much use of the HDSPA offered in the N95-4? 8GB NAM (the US edition). How soon do you want the phone? If you're not in a hurry, maybe you should wait 6 months or so for the first S60 Touch device? There are some really cool devices coming in Q2 2008 such as the Liam and the Dora (make a search on our blog and check them out).

Maybe you should look into the N82 which basically is an improved N95 with a slightly better camera and smaller form factor (most people don't like the buttons though). I myself have not had the chance to play with the N82 so I can't say much, but Stefan at intomobile.com loves this device. I'm sure he'd recommend the N82 if you can't use the HDSPA (faster data speeds).

What phone you would buy depends much on why you need it and what you use it for. I myself use the N95 8GB because it's a perfect device for a blogger, having a great camera, nice video recording features, lots of data space and a superb browser (compared to other phones). On the other hand, I'll probably buy the Dora as my work phone because at work, I'll basically want a small phone mainly used to make calls. Also, the Dora has a GPS and a beautiful slim for factor which makes me drool ;)

Is that good enough for you?

hey dario. well from the other post (how to upgrade firmware) where i informed you my phone was dying once again, i've decided to fix it (for a cost i assume since i doubt nokia will let my warrenty cover it - they've not been helpful with me and my n95-1) and sell it for what i can get. That being said i'm decided on my next phone and was wondering if you could help me decide. It's between the n95 8gb, n95 8gb NAE, and the n82. What would you prefer and why?
