Official YouTube Mobile App in the pipeline
January 24, 2008 by Asri al-Baker

Yup, you read the title right. YouTube is developing it’s own mobile player/browser for it’s video collection. While browsing YouTube to watch my favourite videos just 10 minutes ago, I clicked http://www.youtube.com/mobile and on the right of the page, there’s a sentence saying
"*Available for Nokia’s N73, N95, E65, 6110, 6120 and SonyEricsson k800 and w880."
However, I dont have any of the above-mentioned S60 smartphones to test so I followed the link… and voila! There’s a *beta* version available for download directly using the phones listed. But I dont have any of the mentioned phone. Only an ageing E61i and a brand new N77 (ahermm….). I am not able to test the app directly because I tried to visit the link http://m.youtube.com/app using E61i’s web but it says "Sorry, your phone isn’t currently on our list of supported models. We are working hard to expand this list so please check again soon".
So, any one of you with N95 or E65 dare to test this app? Tell us ok
