The Samsung G800 has received an update as in now numbered G810. The updated device is rumored to be announced during next weeks big event, 3GSM Mobile World Congress, taking place in Barcelona during 11-14th of December.

Amongst the highlights, the G810 is an S60 device running Symbian 9.2 OS, a 5 megapixel auto focus camera with 3x optical zoom, anti-shake technology and face recognition. There’s also a GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, HSDPA and 150MB internal storage. Expected price is about 580 euros.

Nokia’s gaming platform, the N-Gage client has been delayed over and over and is still not released. It’s a shame, however understandable considering the client must work with all N-Gage enabled devices and games.

The good news is Nokia just released another N-Gage preview, this time N81 and N81 8GB users can download a N-Gage First Access client which demonstrates the functionality and experience of the coming final client. The First Access client includes all the social gaming tools and 3 game demos.

SimplySymbian welcomes all beta-culture initiatives such as First Access, allowing the end user to follow the progress of Nokia’s products. A video preview of the First Access platform will be available later tonight.

The award winning Mobitubia is now publicly available. It’s another YouTube client but it was done very professionally and different from other YouTube client available out there for S60 3rd Edition. The interface, in particular, is very nice with minimal menu clicks. The icons are cute and the animation is cool. In my opinion, this should compete head to head with other established YouTube client such as emTube and also the official YouTube mobile client. Did I mention it is FREE?!
