April 25, 2008

The rumour mill strikes again! Engadget Mobile reported that the rumoured E71 has been sighted in the wild. It’s been a few months since the latest Eseries was announced (E51) and Nokia is quiet on the next batch of the business targeted smartphones Eseries. These photos originally appear on a Chinese website which shows some pretty cool QWERTY thumbboard and 3.2 mp camera. What do you think guys? Does it fit to be part of the Eseries?

Nokia 5320 XPressMusic announced
April 22, 2008

With all the marketing buzz Nokia is doing for it’s Nseries family, it’s kinda surprising that there’s another family of phones, using the classic 4 digits number-base name. Anyway, the 5320 features a dynamic design with 3G social entertainment capabilities, the Nokia 5320 XpressMusic delivers exceptional music and web 2.0 access. With the innovative new voice-controlled Say and Play feature, consumers can merely say the name of a favorite artist or song to automatically play it. Offering an array of additional features, the Nokia 5320 XpressMusic device includes dedicated XpressMusic keys, a 3.5mm audio jack, up to 24 hours of playback time, an audio chip for hi-fi sound quality, extendable memory up to 8GB, HS-USB for fast music transfer and HSDPA for fast access to data. Press Release HERE.
Err… HSDPA man… That surely makes website fly and downloading stuff a breeze…
The first review of Sony Ericsson G900 at Mobile-Review.Com
April 18, 2008

Yep! The Russians did it again! Eldar Murtazin published the English version of his SE G900 UIQ 3 smartphone and this time, it’s positive. Of interest is the sheer thin size of the G900 compared to say, the P1i. However, bear in mind that what Eldar has is probably not the final production unit so, things might change according to regions.
I am particularly interested in the one hand approach of UIQ 3 this time. From the review, it seems that almost all important functions (e.g. Call, SMS, Notes) can be accessed one handedly. This is good for the masses to give an overall positive impression to UIQ 3.
And the price, 350 Euros is not bad…
Fresh photos of “BeiBei” found!!!
April 18, 2008

Apart from Paris, there’s also BeiBei, another UIQ 3.3 powered smartphone planned to be released by Sony Ericsson in the next few months. According to USEB, these photos were posted in a Chinese website. From the looks of it, BeiBei is using the new UIQ 3.3 and please bear in mind that the photos are not official and there seems to be a lot of work to be done.
