This is something that should be done a long time ago I think. Nokia could actually become the next R.I.M (Research In Motion) if this is done properly. Afterall, Nokia sold a gazillion more devices than BlackBerry.And in 2005, Nokia bought IntelliSync, the company who has it’s foot in the sync business for so long.

Nokia Email isa new application and service offered by Nokia. Basically, it offers simplified inbox setup and a much more enjoyable interface compared to the built-in Email client in S60. However, it’s still far away from being usable. The UI is slow, it eats RAM like candy and drinking battery juice all the time. But it’s a good effort from Nokia and I can see it improves in time to come. It’s still in beta anyway…

Overview
Nokia Email service is designed with active mobile email users in mind. During this trial period, connect to Google Gmail or many of the thousands of personal email accounts offered by other ISPs (Internet Service Providers).

The more you use and rely on mobile email, the more you will appreciate how easy it is to use.

Nokia Email service is available at email.nokia.com.
