Projekt S60 3rd Edition new version 1.20
September 22, 2008 by Asri al-Baker

Projekt, the real outliner for Symbian, has just received some facelifts. According to the developer’s website, the new version 1.20 is available for S60 3rd Edition, there are a lot of things fixed and added like the ability to give names to category and enhanced keyboard shortcuts for QWERTY devices
The full changelog includes :
- you can give names to categories and each entry can have two categories
- up to 1000 entries are allowed in one list
- the number of descendants is displayed for each entry, at the end of the text. This option can be turned off in Settings.
- the default value for new entries can be 0 or 1.
- when you remove a link to a calendar entry (task, meeting,…) or to a document, the linked entry or document can be deleted always, never, or after confirmation by the user (according to the Settings option)
- if you do not enter a name for a new task or meeting created from within Projekt, the text of the Projekt entry is automatically used.
- if the Projekt entry is dated, the default value for the date of the new linked task or meeting is the date of the Projekt entry.
- all entries are not automatically expanded when you toggle the filter on checked entries on and off, or when you do a Search.
- keyboard shortcuts in the list view (for phones with a keyboard, like E61i, E71, E90) : Ctrl+B for “Bold”, Ctrl+U for “Underline”, Ctrl+S for “Colour”… Ctrl or Fn + up or down arrow for “page up” / “page down”.
- the “bottom line” bug in Notes editing is fixed.
If, you are into notetaking, database, or anything which requires you to enter texts, choose Projekt. You wont regret. It’s one of the most flexible application available for S60 3rd Edition out there.
