How did SimplySymbian.com come to be? Well it all started out as an experiment on Dario Soltani’s blog (formerly at http://dario.soltani.se). Being very interested in mobile technology and knowing he had knowledge he could share with the Symbian community, he started writing some articles about the (at the time coming) Nokia N95 and it’s uses.

Things took off pretty quick and some of the material he wrote became very popular amongst Internet users. After a few months the next natural step was to register this domain - SimplySymbian.com, redesigning the site and give a more clear Symbian profile, as well as offering applications and games, both for sale and as free samples.

Dario lives in in Sweden where he works with application development. Dario has been involved in everything from e-trade projects to 3D game productions and has studied Computer Science at Jonkoping University.

He believes Nokia N-series is the hottest thing out there right now and is fascinated by the strategic opportunities and historical events new technology brings, such as the decline of traditional telephony services and the era of Internet protocol telephony services; Voice over IP (VoIP).
