S60 taskmanagers head to head
August 29, 2008

Over at Symbian-Guru, Pseudofinn wrote about 2 applications that fall into taskmanager categories. Handy Taskman from Epocware and JBak Taskman from Juriy Bakunin. Both are highly capable applications that replaces the built-in S60 taskmanager (you know… press and hold the App key).
On personal note, I agree with the decision. Because I have used JBak Taskman for a few months now and I found it to be more powerful than Handy Taskman in many areas. Yes, the design of JBak Taskman is a little bit spartan but the features and functions are superior than Handy Taskman. Best of all, JBak Taskman is FREE!
There’s also another taskmanager that is not included in the list. It is called Best Taskman from Smartphoneware. It’s another application that needs to be reckoned if you are considering to use 3rd party app for your taskmanaging needs.

August 29, 2008

As usual folks, the Russians did it again before others. They have the N85 and N79 reviewed, albeit it’s too early to say anything about those 2 untill they are both available in the market. There are tons of photos and screenshots, so make sure you have prepared your coffee and an hour or two to spare.
