S60 has chosen TAT

There’s an announcement over at TAT’s official website saying it is available for developers. For those who dont know what TAT is, check the video below. And read the following excerpt from the announcement ” TAT’s technology enables S60 developers to push UI boundaries to even greater heights. Developers can now easily add advanced graphics such as 3D, change effects and also add skins without having to change existing software or add expensive hardware.”

Forum Nokia APAC Developer Workshop - Widgets Runtime

Kuala Lumpur, June 24th 2008. Forum Nokia Asia Pacific together with Maxis Developer Programme (MDP), organised a workshop for developers to familiarise with the newest addition to the programming language and tools for S60 3rd Edition. The Widgets workshop was conducted in conjunction with the MDP - Forum Nokia Widgets Competition 2008. The Competition offers winners some really cool S60 smartphones like the N78 and the N95 8GB.

New Nokia Email Client Debuts

Nokia just release a beta of a new application called simply, Nokia Email. What it does? Well, simply, it’s a new email client which can be configured to fetch emais from different accounts including GMail and other POP emails. And the best function is the PUSH function. Meaning, you can now have all your emails pushed and synchronised anytime from your pocket. Darla Mack wrote an interesting firsthand experience using the application with a few screenshots. CommunicAsia 2008 Exclusive - Garmin

Phew… the last couple of days are very busy for me. And with the news about Symbian Foundation, the Symbian world seems to be less interesting. But let’s leave that behind and continue our lives as usual shall we? During my visit to CommunicAsia 2008 in Singapore in the last 2 weeks, I found Garmin’s booth which showed some interesting offers from them. Also in display is the latest version of Garmin Mobile XT for UIQ 3 version 4.20. You can take a look in the video above that it is a different version compareed to the one available at the moment (version 4.10.80).
